Naomi Campbell hosts, Leslie Odom Jr., Queen Latifah honored at Princess Grace Awards

NEW YORK, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Queen Latifah, Camille A. Brown, and Leslie Odom Jr. were honored at the Princess Grace Awards Gala in New York City on Monday night for their work in the arts.

Latifah was given the Prince Rainier III Award in honor of both her successful career, which spans nearly 30 years, and her philanthropy in the arts.

Past winners of the award include Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke, Denzel Washington, Twyla Tharp, and Mandy Patinkin.

Brown, a choreographer, and Odom, a Tony Award winning performer, were each awarded a Princess Grace Statue, recognizing their success in their respective fields.

The Gala was hosted by supermodel Naomi Campbell and attended by celebrities and royalty, including His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife, Princes Charlene.
