Tyler Posey wishes new 'love' Bella Thorne happy birthday

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Tyler Posey sent birthday wishes to new "love" Bella Thorne over the weekend.

The 24-year-old actor posted a sweet photo and message for Thorne on Instagram for her 19th birthday, albeit one day belated.

"I love these women. My red haired beauties. Happy birthday my love @bellathorne. Sorry I was a couple hours late, I was too distracted by your face," he wrote Sunday.

Thorne shared Snapchat posts later in the day of herself with Posey and her sister Dani Thorne. The actress showed off her figure in a two-toned bikini, while Posey wore blue swim trunks.

Posey and Thorne were first linked in September after they were spotted kissing and holding hands in West Hollywood. Sources told E! News at the time that the pair have been dating since mid-August.

"[It's] nothing serious at the moment," an insider said. "They are hanging out and testing the waters and seeing where it goes."

"Bella really likes Tyler, [however]," the source added. "It's new, but she hopes it will get to a more serious point. She loves being in a relationship and dating one guy at a time; she is really excited about him."

Thorne split from actor Gregg Sulkin in August after two years of dating. She is known for playing CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up, while Posey portrays Scott McCall on the MTV series Teen Wolf.
