LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Orange is the New Black Star Samira Wiley and the show's writer Lauren Morelli are engaged, Wiley announced on Instagram Tuesday.

Wiley posted a picture of the newly engaged couple smiling while Wiley showed off her new diamond ring.

"Yes," Wiley captioned the photo.

Wiley and Morelli met on the set of the show where Wiley starred as Poussey Washington.

Morelli, who was married to TV writer Steve Balisone when she met Wiley, divorced in 2014 after she realized she was gay.

"I was married to a man, but I wasn't straight," Morelli said at the time.

Wiley's OITNB character was killed off in Season 4, and now stars on FXX's show You're the Worst.
