LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Amber Rose was sorry to hear that Kim Kardashian was the victim of an armed robbery over the weekend.

The 32-year-old Dancing with the Stars Season 23 contestant voiced her sympathy for her onetime enemy after Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris on Oct. 2.

"It's unfortunate. It's sad," she told Us Weekly backstage after Monday's episode. "[I haven't spoken to her because] I'm literally here all the time. I feel like I live here."

Kardashian was at her hotel in Paris on Sunday when two men gained entry to her room and stole her cell phone and millions of dollars worth of jewelry. Her husband, Kanye West, was performing in New York at the time and abruptly ended his concert.

"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," the star's rep said after the incident.

Rose, who dated West prior to Kardashian, has a fraught history with the couple. She and Kardashian appeared to call a truce in February, however, as she later confirmed in an interview with People.

"That was the one and only time I've spoken to Kim," Rose said at the time. "She's really nice [and] cool ... I just think as women it's good for us to just let things go and I feel like we did."

Chrissy Teigen, James Corden and Sherri Shepherd are among the other celebrities who have voiced their support for Kardashian after the robbery. Teigen posted a series of tweets Sunday after some social media users made light of the incident.
