Yolanda Hadid approves of Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik dating

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Mom-of-three Yolanda Hadid approves of daughter Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik dating.

The 52-year-old television personality shared her happiness over Gigi and Zayn's romance by re-gramming a photo of the 21-year-old model and 23-year-old singer Wednesday.

"Happiness is seeing your kids happy and realizing they turned out to be really good and genuine people........ #Family #Love," she captioned the picture.

Gigi and Zayn were first linked in November 2015 and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Met gala in May. Zayn couldn't help but gush about the model in the September issue of Elle U.K. magazine.

"She's super intelligent," he said of Gigi. "I think that's why it works so well. And we do the same type of job so we get that with each other."

Hadid shares Gigi, 19-year-old daughter Bella Hadid and 17-year-old son Anwar Hadid with her ex-husband Mohamed Hadid. The former Real Housewives star voiced her support for Gigi last week after Vitalii Sediuk ambushed the model at Milan Fashion Week.

Hadid is known for starring on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but left the Bravo series after Season 6. The television personality, who has chronic Lyme disease, departed the show to focus on her health.
