LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- In the final trailer for Fantasic Beasts and Where to Find Them, fans finally get a look at some of the magical creatures Newt Scamander has been chasing -- including a jewelry-stealing niffler -- and a deeper look at the people who are chasing him.

Scamander, played by Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne, a magizoologist from England arrives in New York City in 1926, along with his magical briefcase which houses some of the "fantastic beasts" from his travels.

Scamander's briefcase gets opened and the creatures escape, sending Scamander on a hunt for the creatures and the American wizarding authorities after Scamander.

Scamander, along with sisters Tina and Queenie Goldstein, played by Katherine Waterson and Alison Sudol, and No-Maj (the American term for muggle) Jacob Kowalski, played by Dan Fogler, must track down the creatures without further aggravating the tensions between the magical and non-magical communities.

Colin Farrell co-stars as Percival Graves, an Auror and Director of Magical Security for the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA) who leads the charge in finding Scamander.

Also on the hunt is Mary Lou, played by Samantha Morton, another No-Maj but one who is determined to rid the world of witches and wizards.

The film, written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and directed by veteran Potter director David Yates, premieres in theaters on Nov. 18.
