Solange Knowles announces new album, 'A Seat at the Table'

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Solange Knowles announced her third album, A Seat at the Table, will be released Sept. 30, her first full-length album since 2008.

"My Album, A Seat At The Table, will be released digitally this Friday, September 20th," Knowles said in an Instagram post. "I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement to share this body of work I have written, with you."

Some of the album's featured artists include Lil Wayne, Q-Tip, Tweet, Dev Hynes, Kelly Rowland, and Kelela.

Knowles also released a free 112-page digital book which features song lyrics and photos for A Seat at the Table.
