Nikki and Brie Bella grace the cover of Muscle & Fitness

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Nikki and Brie Bella are showing off their sculpted abs on the cover of the latest issue of Muscle & Fitness magazine.

"WWE Superstars, TV personalities, role models, empowered women. Congrats to @BellaTwins for their @muscle_fitness cover!," WWE COO Triple H wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of the cover.

Muscle & Fitness also notes how the Bella themed issue is the first time in 76 years that female twins have graced the cover of the magazine.

Outside of discussing their workout regime, Nikki and Brie also sat down with the publication to discuss their upcoming Total Divas spinoff series, Total Bellas which follows Brie and her husband Daniel Bryan as they move in with Nikki and longtime boyfriend John Cena during her recovery from neck surgery.

"Viewers can expect a closer and more in-depth look into our relationships with John [Cena], Daniel [Bryan], and our family," says Nikki. "You saw it on Total Divas, but on Total Bellas you have all of us living under one roof. Our family hasn't been under one roof in 14 years! So you will see more into our relationships with our men and also our relationships with our family."

"Fans will get to see the ups and downs from both of those journeys," Brie adds."What I love, too, is that you actually get to hear from Daniel's perspective. In Total Divas, our men are our garnish. In Total Bellas, you finally get them in the interview chair and you get to hear their perspective on the events going on. Fans will get to hear their point of view."

Nikki recently returned to in-ring action at WWE in August during SummerSlam. Brie famously retired from the company following WrestleMania in April.
