LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Katherine Heigl says she's acquired some "hard-gained wisdom" during her first pregnancy. The 37-year-old actress, who is 19 weeks pregnant and expecting a son with husband Josh Kelley, showed off her growing baby bump and shared pregnancy advice on her website this week.

"There are a few things that I have discovered during the last 19 weeks that have vastly improved my pregnancy experience," she wrote. "I thought that even if only a few of my discoveries were helpful to another pregnant gal I should for sure share them."
Heigl recommended several baby-centric apps and websites, including Baby Center and EatingWell. She admitted to eating too much in the early weeks of her pregnancy, but said she changed her habits for her and the baby's health.
"The first month of my pregnancy I was eating bowls of fettuccine alfredo and huge slices of chocolate cake, all the while telling myself I was eating for two. Even though the second person in this equation was at the time the size of a sesame seed," the star joked.
"It's hard enough for me to get motivated to work out when I'm not pregnant but now that I am it's 10 times harder. I'm not up for weight training, lengthy cardio workouts, or any of those new and fashionable exercise classes. What I am up for is yoga!" she added.
Heigl and Kelley, who married in 2007, are parents to 7-year-old Naleigh and 4-year-old Adalaide, who are adopted. The couple had announced the actress' pregnancy in June.
"The Kelley clan is thrilled to announce that we are expecting a third addition to our family," the pair said at the time. "Naleigh and Adalaide could not be more excited to welcome their new sibling into the fold and Josh and I are overflowing with joy and gratitude."
Heigl is known for playing Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy and has since appeared on the short-lived series State of Affairs. She will next star on the new CBS drama Doubt with Steven Pasquale.
