'Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection' remaster announced for Playstation 4, Xbox One

RENNES, France, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Ezio Auditore da Firenze is back in Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed remaster title, The Ezio Collection.

The game announced Tuesday for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One alongside a new gameplay trailer, will contain 2009's Assassin's Creed 2, 2010's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and 2011's Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Notably, the title's will not contain the series signature online multiplayer mode that was first introduced in Brotherhood but will contain short films Assassin's Creed: Lineage, which acts as a prequel to Assassins's Creed 2 and Assassins's Creed: Embers which takes place following Revelations.

Ubisoft has stated that The Ezio Collection will feature "enhanced graphics" but offered no further details regarding other visual improvements according to Polygon.

Fans who purchase The Ezio Collection when it arrives Nov. 15 for $59.99, will receive an $8 voucher towards the upcoming film adaption of Assassin's Creed starring Michael Fassbender which arrives in theaters Dec. 21.

Photos of Fassbender in action as new original Assassin Callum Lynch were released Monday through The Playlist. The film is said to not be directly adapting any of the existing storylines from the video games.
