Report: Pregnant Janet Jackson is on bed rest

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Music icon Janet Jackson, who is pregnant at age 50, is on bed rest per her doctors' orders.

"She's where all of her doctors are," Us Weekly quoted an unnamed source as saying. "But she had taken her mother out to lunch a few weeks ago."

"She is doing OK and resting until she is due for her baby," another insider told E! News, adding Jackson "is aware of complications, but as of now doctors say she is OK."

The Grammy Award-winner has stayed out of the spotlight since confirming earlier this year that she and her husband Wissam Al Mana are expecting their first child.
