MEMPHIS, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake revealed the new fall fashion line for his brand William Rast Thursday in a new promo video alongside partner Trace Ayala.
"To talk about the brand, you have to understand where we grew up," Timberlake says in the clip as he explains the inspiration behind the line's Americana-inspired appeal which includes denim jackets and dark-washed jeans.
"We grew up in Memphis ... obviously, a huge historical music town. And Nashville, right down the road, is the cornerstone of country music. But Memphis is also the home of the blues, and the birthplace of rock 'n' roll," he continues and notes that William Rast is a combination of styles seen in both music genres.
William Rast which first launched in 2005, the singer explains, was named after his and Ayala's grandfathers."It's a crazy feeling to even look at a rivet, and it has your grandfather's name on it," Timberlake says. "The smallest little detail, but you're like, 'That's our brand.'"
William Rast can be found at Nordstrom, Dillard's, Belk, Bon-Ton and Bloomingdale's.
