NEW YORK, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Rosie O'Donnell's daughter Chelsea O'Donnell is reportedly being evaluated at a New York hospital.
News outlets reported the 19-year-old is undergoing psychiatric evaluation after being rushed to a Long Island hospital Monday evening.
Sources told E! News Chelsea is presently "alert and awake" and "safe," although it is unknown when she will be released from the hospital. O'Donnell's rep had no comment.
Insiders said Chelsea is enrolled in a state-wide program that offers emergency psychiatric evaluations and subsequent treatment. She will be evaluated by psychiatrists, social workers and other mental health professionals.
News of Chelsea's hospitalization comes just three weeks after she and O'Donnell reunited in a new photo. O'Donnell reflected at the time on how far she and Chelsea had come since their highly-publicized estrangement.
"Chelsea and me - what a difference a year makes #hopelives," the 54-year-old television personality captioned the picture.
O'Donnell and Chelsea, who is adopted, had a falling out in August 2015 after the teenager went missing and was discovered at the home of an alleged heroin dealer. Chelsea later went to live with her birth mother.
