LOS ANGELES, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Leslie Jones has returned to social media following the hack of her website.

"Thanks to my fans and friends! I'm soooooo ok really. And I will always be funny been through a lot in my life and I ALWAYS GET BACK UP!" the comedian wrote Sunday on Twitter marking her return.

Jones has continued to remain active on Twitter since posting comedic videos aimed at Warner Bros. 2015 remake of Point Break.

Jones took a mini-sabbatical from social media following the recent attack of her website, justleslie.com. The website was taken down in August after hackers posted personal information and several nude photos of the Ghostbusters star.

Photos of Jones' driver license, passport and internet famous gorilla Harambe were also posted.

Celebrities showed support for Jones on Twitter in the wake of the invasive hack with Ghostbusters director Paul Feig writing, "What's happening to @Lesdoggg is an absolute outrage. Alt right, haters, trolls, 'comedians,' whoever the [expletive] you all are, you're just sad."

"Do not give your eyeballs to this racist, hate-filled, misogynoir crime. I #StandWithLeslie," Katy Perry added.

The 48-year-old took another break from Twitter earlier this year after she became the target of a hate campaign surrounding her role in Ghostbusters. Several users were permanently banned from Twitter after the incident including noted conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos.
