Dwayne Johnson shares first look at the concept art for his 'Jumanji' character

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson shared a photo of his Jumanji character on Instagram, giving fans a sneak peek at what he'll look like as "the smoldering" Dr. Bravestone.

"EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK: Concept art of my #Jumanji character. "The Smoldering" Dr. Bravestone. (not sure where my pecs went;). This is gonna be fun," Johnson wrote, noting that the CGI rendering made him look smaller than in real life.

The film, which Johnson also noted, is a sequel to Robin Williams' 1995 movie about a board game that comes to life.

"Can't wait to 'play the game that plays you,'" Johnson said.

Jumanji also stars Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, and Karen Gillan. Production on the film begins this month in Hawaii.
