Ashley Graham debuts short hair at 2016 MTV VMAs

NEW YORK, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Ashley Graham switched up her look for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

The 28-year-old model revealed a new, bob haircut while attending the awards show at Madison Square Garden. Graham, who previously had long hair, initially went shorter last week for a Sports Illustrated event.

"I feel high-end and luxurious!" she told Entertainment Tonight. "Also, I felt like my sexy was connected to my hair, and I cut it off and was like, 'Ahhh, damn, I look good!'"

Graham was on hand to support singer Nick Jonas, who performed his song "Bacon" with Ty Dolla $ign at the ceremony. The model turned heads next to husband Justin Ervin on the red carpet in a revealing Naeem Khan gown.

"[I loved] the shimmer, the see-through [of my dress]," she told US Weekly magazine. "I get to show a little body [and I got] a little fun, fresh new cut!"

Graham will reveal a new intimates line for Addition Elle at New York Fashion Week in September. She is best known for her modeling work with Lane Bryant, Levi's, swimsuitsforall and Sports Illustrated.
