LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Lauren Graham said the upcoming Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls is something her late TV dad, Edward Herrmann, "would have loved."

Graham told People Herrmann's death will be reflected in the show, and his death and the subsequent death of his character, Richard Gilmore, has changed the show's dynamic.

"His death was just a loss for us personally," she said. "It's given the show a new complexity and depth. It's a nice tribute to him."
