Bella Thorne comes out as bisexual on social media

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Bella Thorne has casually come out as bisexual on social media a week after splitting up from her boyfriend, Gregg Sulkin.

"Yes," the former Disney star replied on Twitter Tuesday in response to a fan asking if she was bisexual.

The question came about after Thorne's Snapchat story on Monday featured herself kissing another woman.

"Aww thank you for all the accepting tweets from everyone. I love you guys #pride," the actress later wrote on Twitter.

Thorne, 18, and Sulkin, 24, released a joint statement to People magazine earlier in the month to announce their split, writing, "After much thought and soul-searching, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship."

"We will always love each other and have a deep respect for one another, as we have each grown to be better people because of our time together. Our schedules made seeing each other difficult, and we decided that for now this would be best," it continued.
