'Stranger Things' star Millie Bobby Brown shares head shaving video on social media

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has taken to social media to share a video that highlights her transformation into series protagonist Eleven.

"Here it is!! The video of me getting my hair shaved for #StrangerThings. Enjoy! #buzzed," the 12-year-actress wrote on Twitter Sunday alongside the clip.

Accompanied by Beyonce's 2013 track "Pretty Hurts," the video features Brown shyly smiling while her hair gets cut and shaved off while surrounded by friends and members of the show's crew.

By the end, Brown switches into character and sternly stares into the camera as Eleven would right before using her supernatural powers.

In a previous interview with E! News, Brown admitted that she was inspired by Charlize Theron's shaved head look from Mad Max: Fury Road and from costar Winona Ryder's short hairstyle from high school.

"Winona looked cool back in the day with the pixie cut," Brown said. "I thought maybe I could bring it back!"
