DALLAS, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Jordan Rodgers and JoJo Fletcher celebrated their engagement with family and friends over the weekend.

The 27-year-old former NFL player and 25-year-old real estate developer, who met and got engaged on The Bachelorette Season 12, were stunned to find their loved ones had organized a surprise party for them Saturday.

"Jordan and I were going out to what we thought was just a little dinner with friends but instead walked into a room full of both our friends and family to celebrate in our engagement," Fletcher wrote on Instagram. "We are so incredibly blessed."

"So blessed to not only have found the love of my life @joelle_fletcher, but have an amazing family and new family to share a life with," Rodgers added. "So blessed to do life with these people! #fletchersmeettherodgers."

The celebration came just two days after Rodgers' ex-girlfriend Brittany Farrar once again accused the former NFL player of cheating. Farrar had first alleged in May that Rodgers was unfaithful during their relationship.

"After our breakup, I was surprised to find out what a prolific liar and cheater #JordanRodgers was during our entire 3 1/2 year relationship," she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post Thursday.

"Jordan, you dragged our relationship into the spotlight, and then challenged my honesty and character. If you weren't ready to be truthful about your life then you shouldn't have gone on a reality show."

Rodgers had called Farrar's accusations "really harsh and very untrue" in an interview this month. His estranged brother, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, was not present at the surprise party.
