LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Lauren Graham tweeted that she is waiting for a Gilmore Girls-like revival of NBC's hit show Parenthood, which aired its last episode in early 2015.

Graham played Sarah Braverman on the show and is reprising her role as Lorelei Gilmore in Netflix's upcoming continuation of the Gilmore Girls, titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Graham tweeted Thursday that she is waiting for Parenthood series creator Jason Katims to do something similar.

"*Sits at home waiting for script @nbcParenthood: A Year in the Life.*" she tweeted.

Katims recently said that he's not ruling out a reunion.

"There's nothing happening right now, but when the time is right I would love to revisit it," he said.

Katims also noted that he reached out to Graham to find out the process behind Netflix's Gilmore Girls production.

"I asked someone who was working on it how they structured it and how it all worked," he said. "Because I was thinking that might happen [with Parenthood] down the road a few years."

There's not word yet on a date for Parenthood's potential revival.

Gilmore Girls returns to Netflix in November with four, all new 90-minute episodes.
