LONDON, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- J.K. Rowling is releasing three new eBooks called Pottermore Presents which will delve into untold stories of the Wizarding World.

The books, available for download from digital book retailers and right from Pottermore itself, will each feature a different Hogwarts-related theme.

Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide will share details about the enchanted school from ghosts to the Sorting Hat.

Short Stories from Hogwarts: Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists will explore darker themes surrounding Azkaban prison, the Ministry of Magic, and a new writing about potions master Horace Slughorn, plus additional information on Dolores Umbridge, and Quirinus Quirrell.

The third book, Short Stories from Hogwarts: Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies, takes a deeper look at Hogwarts' staff, including another new original piece from Rowling, this time about Minerva McGonagall and her role in the second wizarding war.

"So, for those who want to quench their thirst for more knowledge about the wizarding world, such as why the Black family bestow such odd names to their children, how a witch or wizard becomes a portrait, or what J.K. Rowling really thinks about Professor Umbridge, step right this way to find out," said a Pottermore blog post announcing the books' release.

The new books come on the heels of the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the published script of the play of the same name which is running in London's West End until December.

Fans also get another up-close look at the Wizarding World with the release of the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them when it hits theaters in November.
