"#FreeingtheNipple for our French Vogue cover with my brothers @mertalas & @macpiggott," she wrote of photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, aka Mert and Marcus. "Thank you for opening my eyes to a new art form."

"Thank you for the opportunity and experience @emmanuellealt @vogueparis and everyone for your support," she added of Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt. "#LoveYourBody."

In addition to her topless photo, Hadid also posted a bottomless picture from the shoot. The model previously voiced her support for the Free the Nipple movement in the September issue of Glamour.

"I'm really proud to be a woman," she told the magazine. "I love that women can be feminine but also powerful. You know, free the nipple!"

"I mean, my mom is European," the star added of mom Yolanda Hadid. "We were always very comfortable with our bodies. It's fine if you don't want to show your body like that. But if a woman wants to show her body, I'm all for it."
