LOS ANGELES, July 15 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant walked the red carpet with his family Thursday after announcing his wife's third pregnancy earlier in the week.

The 37-year-old retired NBA star attended the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards with wife Vanessa Bryant and their two daughters, 13-year-old Natalia and 10-year-old Gianna.

Bryant was all smiles as he held his family close for photos. Vanessa showed off her growing baby bump in a form-fitting burgundy dress and accessorized with a simple black choker necklace.

The former Los Angeles Lakers player and his wife had revealed they're expecting a third daughter on social media Tuesday. The couple have been together since 1999 and married in Dana Point, Calif., in 2001.

"Beyond blessed and excited to share that we are expecting our third baby girl!!! #Blessed #BabyMamba #Thankful," the pair announced on Instagram.

Bryant accepted the Legend Award at the Nickelodeon awards and was doused in gold slime onstage. He and Vanessa attended the ESPY Awards the day previous, where he was honored with the Icon Award.

"We're very blessed and very fortunate. Having three girls is a huge, huge blessing," the star told Access Hollywood at the ESPYs ceremony.
