Colbert's show will reportedly have an "on-site presence" at the conventions, with Colbert likely to remain in his New York studio.

Stewart, originally worked with Colbert on The Daily Show from 1999 to 2005 before Colbert left for his own show, The Colbert Report. Stewart, however, remains an executive producer of The Late Show.
