SAN RAFAEL, Calif., July 15 (UPI) -- Videogame studio Telltale Games provided new details about their upcoming collaboration with Warner Bros. BATMAN – The Telltale Series.
The episodic, story driven, choice-based game, based on DC Comics hero Batman, will release its first episode digitally sometime in August on consoles, PC/Mac, and iOS or Android based devices, the company announced on Friday.
Telltale Games stated that the official digital release date will be released next week along with a premiere trailer for the game.
BATMAN – The Telltale Series digital release will be followed by the release of a physical "Season Pass Disc" on September 13 in North America and September 16 in Europe.
The Season Pass Disc will include the first episode of the series on the disc and will then grant access to the remaining four episodes as online updates once they become available.
A preview of the game will also be held at San Diego Comic Con on July 23, during a "crowd play event" featuring Troy Baker, who voices Bruce Wayne in the game, as well as internet personality and host Greg Miller.
