Blake Lively on her second pregnancy: 'It's much easier'

NEW YORK, July 13 (UPI) -- Blake Lively says her second pregnancy has proved smoother than her first.

The 28-year-old actress revealed as much on Wednesday's episode of Live with Kelly. Lively, who is already mom to daughter James, is expecting again with husband Ryan Reynolds.

"I feel good," she told host Kelly Ripa. "[It's been] much easier. A lot faster. You get bigger, faster, too, which has been nice to try to fit into clothing strategically."

Lively and Reynolds married in 2012 and welcomed James in December 2014. The actress shed much of her baby weight while filming her latest movie, The Shallows, a thriller that sees her in a bikini.

"[Shooting started] 10 months after [James' birth]," she said. "That movie was an athletic event as much as it was an acting job because they didn't hire a stunt double until the last two weeks. It was just insane underwater stunts."

Lively had shared a baby bump photo Tuesday, writing, "Trying to look super fly and casual like @rosiehw always does in her outfit pics." She recently discussed her family with USA Today, saying she and Reynolds prioritize family over their careers.

"We've both given up projects that we really love because we can't keep our family together," the star said. "People often think their career is something they have to chase and maintain, but for us, we said, 'Let's always chase and maintain our personal life.'"

"This is a career that's like the stock market: You've got to stay hot while you're hot. But your family, that's the real thing that gives you security and success and happiness," she explained.

Lively will next star in Café Society with Kristen Stewart and is also slated for All I See is You with Jason Clarke. Reynolds, meanwhile, will appear in The Hitman's Bodyguard with Samuel L. Jackson.
