LOS ANGELES, July 11 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian has been deemed a "media mogul" on the latest cover of Forbes magazine following the success of her hit mobile game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

The cover story, which features an interview with the reality star, explores the title's success and how Kardashian was inspired to enter into the world of mobile gaming.

"I became really intrigued with the tech world," the 35-year-old mother of two explains. "I started spending a lot of time in San Francisco. I realized this is really going to be the next cycle of my career and this is what I want to focus on."

Kardashian also mentioned how her husband, rapper Kanye West, pushed her to pursue making the title. "I remember I asked Kanye, 'Should I do this?' He was like, 'Yes!' That's how he got into music because he wanted to do music for video games and wanted to create video games," she said. "I was like, 'I wonder if people are really going to ... mimic my life.'"

So far, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which was released in 2014, has earned $160 million in total revenue and is available on iOS and Android devices. The free-to-play game allows players to create their own personal character to navigate through Hollywood, attend red carpet premieres and decide which celebrity to date. The title is supported with in-app purchases for cosmetic items such as clothing and jewelry which Kardashian wears in real life.

Along with Hollywood, Kardashian has also released a subscription based app that gives fans an inside look into her life and a Kardashian-themed emoji app dubbed Kimoji. "When people looked at me in a way like, 'Why is she stepping into the tech world? That's not her territory! Stick to reality TV!' I was like, 'No,'" she says of branching out. "This is fun for me. Now I'm coming up with Kimojis and the app and all these other ideas. I don't see myself stopping."

Kardashian shared the Forbes magazine cover on Instagram noting, "Such a tremendous honor to be on the cover of @forbes! I never dreamed this would happen and know my Dad would be so proud. #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent."

Glu Mobile, developers of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, have also released a mobile game featuring Kendall and Kylie Jenner and announced back in February that they had entered into an exclusive gaming partnership with Taylor Swift.
