NEW YORK, July 10 (UPI) -- New York's Roundabout Theatre Company says Joel Grey, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Harold Perrineau and John Glover are joining Diane Lane in a new production of The Cherry Orchard.

Stephen Karam's adaptation of the Anton Chekhov classic about a family on the edge of ruin will be directed by Simon Godwin.

Previews are to begin Sept. 15, with an official opening planned for Oct. 16.

The limited engagement will play through Dec. 4 on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre.

"The acting company has a unique history with Chekhov: Diane Lane made her Broadway debut as a child, in the 1977 revival of The Cherry Orchard and, also in 1977, Joel Grey played Platonov [Chekhov's first play] at the Williamstown Theatre Festival," a Roundabout press release said.
