Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston enjoy date in Nashville

NASHVILLE, June 24 (UPI) -- Taylor Swift and new beau Tom Hiddleston stepped out together Thursday in Nashville.

The 26-year-old American singer and 35-year-old British actor enjoyed a dinner date with friends at the restaurant Adele's. The couple were spotted holding hands as they arrived at the establishment.

"Tom held the inside door open for Taylor and put his arm around her waist as they walked up to the hostess station," a source told Us Weekly. "They looked like they were having an amazing time."

"They looked adorable [during dinner]. No one bothered them," the insider added. "Tom also had his arm around Taylor as they exited. He seemed very protective of her."

Swift, who owns a house in Nashville, ate lunch with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, at Epice restaurant earlier in the day. E! News reported the singer introduced Hiddleston to her mom and dad afterward.

Swift and Hiddleston were first linked June 15, two weeks after the singer's split from DJ Calvin Harris. The couple were seen cozying up at a Selena Gomez concert Tuesday.

"There was an immediate attraction," a source told E! the same day. "[They are] already very attached [and] text all the time."

Swift last released 1989 in 2014, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space." Hiddleston will next star in Kong: Skull Island with Brie Larson.
