Frankel said she has previous suffered from numerous "female problems" including cysts and endometriosis.

She also said she now believes the fibroids may have caused her to miscarry in 2012, US Weekly reported.

She said "most of the women" on the Real Housewives were supportive as she prepared for surgery May 22.

Since that surgery, she said, she has been eating more vegetarian dishes and drinking a lot more water and juices.

Frankel said she is feeling good.

There had been some speculation back in April that Frankel had cancer, which she put to rest. She said the fibroids were not cancerous.

At the time, she said she was dealing with the issues and staying strong for her 6-year-old daughter, Bryn.
