LOS ANGELES, June 10 (UPI) -- Khloe Kardashian is feeling good about her new, shorter hairstyle.
The 31-year-old reality star showed off her new look in an Instagram post Thursday after entrusting longtime stylist Jen Atkin with the shoulder-skimming cut.
"Feeling some type of way with this short hair," the star captioned the photo. "I love my glam genies @jenatkinhair and @styledbyhrush."
Kardashian's tresses previously fell several inches past her shoulders, although she often switched up her look with long extensions. She initially cut her hair shorter after estranged husband Lamar Odom's hospitalization.
"I cut all my hair off because I was in the hospital [with Lamar] and I just felt like, once I got out of there for a minute, 'I need to get rid of this negativity,'" the star explained on Live! with Kelly in January.
"You shouldn't do haircuts when you're that emotionally confused, but I did and I love it," she added. "It's so much easier."
Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom again in May after calling off their divorce in October. She has since been linked to NFL star Odell Beckham, Jr., but dismissed the rumored romance as "a little flirting" last week.
