NEW YORK, June 8 (UPI) -- The stars of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot are getting their own magazine covers for the July issue of Elle.
Comedian and actor Will Ferrell interviews former Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig in one the magazine's feature editorials. In the interview, Wiig recounted one of her first sketches on SNL. "I was scared that I was going to freeze or swear or pass out," she said.
Shoe designer Brian Atwood spoke with fellow designer and actress Melissa McCarthy for her editorial. She detailed how she creates believable characters, saying she gets "psychotically attached" to them. "I fight for them in probably the most annoying way," she said.
Interviewed by Ben Dickinson, Leslie Jones said she knew she would have her big break at some point. "I just knew that I was funny, and I knew that it was just a matter of time," she said. "I didn't know what was going to actually happen -- this is definitely way bigger than I thought -- but I knew there was no way I was going to be that funny and nobody was going to notice it."
Lastly, Kate McKinnon, who was interviewed by Lizzy Goodman, said she uses acting as a way to relate to others. "I came to a reckoning that [pretending to be other people] is in fact such a real, huge chunk of the way I communicate," she said. "I thought it was something I was putting on to disguise something else, but it's not."
Director Paul Feig's female-centric Ghostbusters reboot arrives in theaters July 15.
