LOS ANGELES, June 3 (UPI) -- Music theater superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda is the next to join James Corden on his commute to work on The Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke.

The star confirmed the news on Twitter this week, responding to one fan's questions about whether he will appear on the well-known segment. "Did, Kid!" the star briefly replied.

The Hamilton and In The Heights creator will appear in the special Tony Award-edition of the segment on June 6. He will reportedly be joined by Shuffle Along star Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson of Modern Family and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt actress Jane Krakowski, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The songs the group will sing will all be connected to famous musicals; expect to hear a lot from Hamilton, and maybe some from Miranda's In The Heights, which recently landed a movie deal with The Weinstein Company.

Tunes from Ferguson's Broadway show Fully Committed and Krakowski's She Loves Me may also be featured.

Entertainment Weekly also reported Selena Gomez has recorded a Carpool Karaoke bit with James Corden for airing later in June.
