HOLLYWOOD, June 3 (UPI) -- In true zany fashion, Jimmy Kimmel interviewed Mariah Carey Thursday night while both of them lounged in a tub filled with bubbles.

"True or false, do you take baths with your clothes on?" Kimmel asks Carey during Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"Actually, now I do because I have, like, two babies, they just turned five, and they're very much, like, in to the discovery of it all," Carey said, calling the entire matter "very annoying." She said she bathes with the kids wearing a swimsuit.

In an effort to make her comfortable, Kimmel said, he broke out a bathtub filled with bubbles and invited her, in her floor-lengh black sequined gown, to step in for an interview. A couple of hunky guys popped out from behind the curtain to give her a glass of champagne and feed her grapes.

"This is real," she said, splashing water. "I'm actually taking a bath with Jimmy Kimmel."

Carey has a standing Las Vegas gig that she said regularly draws her devoted fans from around the world, where she sings her 18 greatest hits one after another, But, she told Kimmel, she has no plans to marry Australian billionaire fiance James Packer in a Las Vegas Elvis chapel.

The first of the three films is scheduled to premiere during the channel's Countdown to Valentine's Day programming event in 2017. The "Infinity" singer will also compose and produce an original song for each movie.

Carey previously collaborated with the Hallmark network on A Christmas Melody, which premiered in December. The channel aired her holiday music special Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas the same month.

"We are honored to continue our collaboration with the multi-talented Mariah Carey," Michelle Vicary, executive vice president of programming at Hallmark Channel's parent company, Crown Media Family Networks, said.

"It's rare to work with a talent who can produce, direct, star and also compose original music for a project, and we know she will deliver for our viewers once again," she added.

Carey is developing the new E! reality series Mariah's World, an eight-part series that will follow the star on her Sweet Sweet Fantasy world tour and see her plan her wedding to Packer.
