LOS ANGELES, June 3 (UPI) -- Calvin Harris is clearing the air amid a slew of rumors following his split with pop star Taylor Swift.

The famed musician took to Twitter Thursday to say, "The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect."

Taylor Swift retweeted her ex-boyfriend's tweet.

Thirty-two-year-old Harris, born Adam Wiles, and 26-year-old Swift were together for 15 months before their recent split. They celebrated their one-year anniversary in March with a romantic getaway, which they both documented on Instagram.

A source with knowledge about the split said, "There was no drama. Things just don't work out sometimes. No one cheated."

The couple began dating after they met at the 2015 Brit Awards and subsequently kept their relationship private for several months.

Days after news of Swift and Harris' split, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid reportedly also broke ties, according to reports. The former One Direction singer, 23, and supermodel, 21, were together for seven months. The reason for the couple's split is still unclear, but sources have said they have gone through rough patches and arguments.
