"It's 19 years later when the play begins," Thornley said. "Ron is married to Hermione Granger and they're now the Granger-Weasleys. Our magnificent daughter Rose Granger-Weasley is about to start at Hogwarts, which is obviously a big day for everyone."

Images of the actors who play Harry, Ginny and Albus Potter were unveiled Tuesday.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two is a play by Jack Thorne, based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Scheduled to officially open in the West End on July 30, the play is set 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Scholastic will publish in print the special rehearsal edition of the eighth Harry Potter story in the United States and Canada at 12:01 a.m. ET on July 31.
