NEW YORK, May 23 (UPI) -- Catfish host Nev Schulman and girlfriend Laura Perlongo are engaged. The 31-year-old television personality announced the news Sunday on social media by posting a photo with Perlongo featuring her engagement ring.

"We're enraged!!!" Schulman captioned the picture, with his bride-to-be adding, "It's all v serious now."
The couple's engagement comes less than two weeks after they revealed they're expecting their first child. The pair had been dating long-distance for seven months when Perlongo learned she was pregnant.
"It's a girl!" Schulman revealed on Instagram. "No words can capture the excitement and joy I feel about becoming a father. I am so in love with you @el_peego and thank you for giving me this incredible gift. You inspire and excite me every day."
"Nev and I certainly have no idea what we're doing, we just know we're doing something we want to be doing," Perlongo told ATTN. "Hopefully we don't suck at it or turn into know-it-all zombies. Mainly we're just really happy and excited."
Schulman and Perlongo made their red carpet debut as a couple at the New York premiere of The Intern in September. Schulman is the subject of the 2010 documentary Catfish and has hosted Catfish: The TV Show on MTV since 2012.
