The original Xenoverse released in February of 2015, worked as a retrospective on Dragon Ball as players were tasked with fixing the series' timeline, reliving events and battles from across its epic run including moments from 2013's theatrical Battle of Gods.

As seen in the trailer, Xenoverse 2 will expand more into Dragon Ball's movie selection with footage highlighting specials Bardock- The Father of Goku and The History of Trunks. There is no word yet on whether the recently released Resurrection F will be featured in the game.

Additional details on how the title will expand on its predecessor and which additional character customization will be added will be revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June. Bandai Namco promises the release will feature "the most detailed Dragon Ball world ever developed.
