LOS ANGELES, May 17 (UPI) -- Glee star Becca Tobin is engaged to entrepreneur Zach Martin. The 30-year-old actress announced the news on Monday's episode of her LadyGang podcast, which she started with The Insider host Keltie Knight and designer Jac Vanek in December.

"I got engaged!" Tobin told her co-hosts. "This hurts me so much because [telling everyone] is the part of being engaged that I don't want, so this is painful for me.
"Every single person thought I was kidding," she said of the news. "I thought he was kidding when he had the ring in front of my face! I thought it was fake ... I'm really thrilled, though."
Tobin and Martin met through mutual friends and often share photos together on social media. The couple were all smiles in a picture Tobin posted in April, writing, "I always cut his head off in selfies #verticallychallenged."
News of Tobin's engagement comes nearly two years after her boyfriend Matt Bendik's death. The actress said Bendik "will live in [her] heart forever" after he was discovered dead in a hotel room at age 35 in July 2014.
Tobin played Kitty Wilde on Seasons 4 through 6 of Fox series Glee and has also appeared on Drop Dead Diva, Mystery Girls and NCIS: Los Angeles. The actress will next appear in the TV movie Before You Say I Do.
