NEW YORK, May 13 (UPI) -- Meghan Trainor fell on her back during the closing moments of her performance Thursday on The Tonight Show.

Rocking a sparkling green dress, the pop star performed her single "Me Too" from her recently released second studio album Thank You complete with strobe lights and a host of backup dancers.

As the performance concluded, Trainor was seen slipping and falling to the floor as she turned around to walk back to her microphone after singing, taking the mic stand with her.

Host Jimmy Fallon came over to Trainor and laid down beside her as the two laughed about her spill. On Friday, the 22-year-old responded to a fan on Twitter asking if she was alright writing, "Haha I didn't feel it till hours later . I'm all good tho. Barely a scratch."

Recently, Trainor made headlines when she took down her latest music video for "Me Too" after she discovered edits made to make her waistline appear smaller. An approved, un-edited version of the video has since reappeared on Youtube.
