PARIS, May 12 (UPI) -- Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake combined their talent to debut their rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" during the Cannes Film Festival.

The song will reportedly appear in their upcoming animated film Trolls alongside Timberlake's latest single "Can't Stop The Feeling."

Introducing themselves as "Anna and Garfunkel" Wednesday, the duo sang a soft version of Lauper's 1968 song alongside a third musician.

"We're just having fun, we're just friends here, right?" Kendrick said ahead of the performance. "We're just like, hanging out in your living room and this isn't a big deal."

Dreamworks' Trolls will release in theaters this November.
