Angela Simmons shows off new engagement ring on social media

LOS ANGELES, April 27 (UPI) -- Angela Simmons has taken to social media to flaunt a newly acquired engagement ring.

The fashion designer and daughter of hip-hop legend Rev Run posted on Instagram Tuesday a photo and a video displaying her new diamond ring while keeping the identity of her fiancé a secret.

"YES!! I couldn't be more excited. This is only something I could of only dreamed of," Simmons wrote captioning the video in which she zooms in on the sparkling jewelry.

"I'm over the moon and feeling so blessed to be able to share my life with the one I truly love. Everything happened in the most perfect way," she continued. In the separate photo, the 28-year-old is seen casually displaying her new bling while sitting down.

Simmons gave no timetable for when she plans on tying the knot.

Although the former Run's House star has kept her relationship a secret, in March, Simmons posted a "man-crush-everyday" photo of herself enjoying a piggy-back ride on the back of her mysterious boyfriend.

"My one and only #MCE The true definition of a MCE.. One who truly has your back. #TrueLove #Thankful," she wrote at the time.
