NASHVILLE, April 26 (UPI) -- Kid Rock found his personal assistant dead Monday at his Nashville property due to an ATV accident.

"I am beyond devastated to report that my personal assistant Mike Sacha passed away today in an ATV accident here in Nashville," Kid Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, said in a statement on his official website.

"He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with. I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family," he continued. "We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family."

According to The Tennessean, 30-year-old Sacha is believed to have died after ferrying guests on Ritchie's property to an Uber located at the driveway around midnight. Police have reported that he lost control of the ATV and crashed on his way back.

Ritchie and a friend found Sacha Monday morning and immediately called for help. Authorities arrived to discover the assistant lying face down and already deceased by the time they had arrived.

"We've already been contacted by the press asking if it was me who was in the accident, so I want to stop any rumors before they spread," Ritchie continued in his statement. "I'm asking everyone to please respect our and his families' privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend."
