LOS ANGELES, April 19 (UPI) -- Iggy Azalea is setting the record straight on her status with Nick Young.
The 25-year-old Australian rapper confirmed she and the 30-year-old Los Angeles Lakers star are still together Monday on Twitter after a leaked tape showed Young discussing other women.
"For the record, i havent broken up with Nick. We are together and i would love to be given a little (a lot) of privacy on the matter," Azalea wrote.
"I always answer questions honestly. But my job is to promote my music, not my relationship. Id love to be interviewed about the former only," she added.
Azalea and Young made headlines in March after Young's teammate D'Angelo Russell secretly recorded him discussing women he met while dating Azalea. An unknown source later leaked the video, and many speculated the couple would split.
"I'm still figuring it all out," the rapper said of the scandal on The Bert Show last week. "When you're in the heat of the moment or things are still progressing or coming out and you're getting new information, the way you feel about things can change really quickly."
"I'm out here on this promo tour," she explained. "It's just something we'll have to figure out later when I actually come home and have time to talk about it. I don't think it's something you can really figure out when you're halfway across the country."
Azalea and Young have been together since 2013 and got engaged in June. The rapper is gearing up to release her second studio album, Digital Distortion, which includes the songs "Azillion" and "Team."
