LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) -- Total Divas star Brie Bella and husband Daniel Bryan are hoping for their first child.

The 32-year-old reality star confirmed she and Bryan intend to have a baby in a Facebook Live chat with sister Nikki Bella on Thursday ahead of the Total Divas Season 5 finale.

"Well, I guess the world should know I am trying," Bella said. "I'm not pregnant yet, that's why you know I indulged in some alcohol yesterday on the beach that paparazzi had to take a shot of. But yes, I am trying, so keep your fingers crossed."

The Q&A follows news of Bella's retirement from WWE wrestling. The WWE Divas star confirmed she's retiring in an Instagram post Monday following her WrestleMania victory with Team Total Divas.

"To the #BellaArmy to every women I got in the ring with, to @wwe for living the dream...to my husband @bryanldanielson who taught me everything.. I love you all and I'm forever grateful!!!" the star wrote.

Bryan responded to Bella's retirement by praising his wife as his "rock and the love of [his] life" and joking, "Now let's work on that baby making!" The 34-year-old three-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion retired himself in February.

Nikki Bella, meanwhile, discussed her upcoming return to the WWE following her career-threatening neck surgery in January. The WWE Divas star said she hopes to return to the ring in June or July after a final CAT scan.

The Total Divas Season 5 finale will air Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
