LONDON, April 13 (UPI) -- Cara Delevingne's latest modeling contract is with British cosmetics brand, Rimmel London, the company has announced.

The British model and actress will serve as Rimmel's latest brand ambassador, following the footsteps of Georgia May Jagger, Rita Ora and Kate Moss.

"I'm honored to be working with Rimmel," the Suicide Squad performer said in a statement released by the brand Wednesday. "It's the first make-up brand I was introduced to as a teenager. I'm a London girl through and through and Rimmel truly captures and represents the city's edgy, cosmopolitan beauty styles."

Last September, Delevingne mentioned her affinity towards cosmetics, telling Telegraph "makeup plays a huge part in my professional life, and I love the way I can use it to transform myself."

Rimmel London is hosting a virtual press conference -- the first of its kind -- on Snapchat to highlight its new partnership with Delevingne.

"In GEN Z-style, consumers will become journalists for one day with a chance to pose their burning questions to Cara on #RimmelxCara," the company said. The conference will be held on the social media platform April 15.
