LOS ANGELES, April 13 (UPI) -- Blue Ivy celebrated her fourth birthday at a fairy-themed party fit for a princess.
The lucky 4-year-old's mom, singer Beyoncé, shared several photos from the fête on her website Tuesday, four months after Blue Ivy's birthday on Jan. 7.
Beyoncé and husband Jay Z created a gorgeous, flower-adorned space complete with a rack of princess outfits and sets of fairy wings for guests to wear. The couple also hired two grownup fairy princesses to interact with the kids.
Blue Ivy wore a pink dress with crystal embellishment and tulle skirt and underwent a costume change during the party. The 4-year-old switched to a purple dress with butterfly embroidery and accessorized with pink wings and a tiara.
Beyoncé and Jay Z married in 2008 and welcomed Blue Ivy in 2012. The singer recently called her daughter her "greatest accomplishment" in the spring/summer issue of Garage magazine.
"Out of everything I've accomplished, my proudest moment, hands-down, was when I gave birth to my daughter, Blue," the star said. She previously called Blue Ivy her "best friend" in the March 2013 issue of Vogue.
Blue Ivy was on hand for Beyoncé's Super Bowl 50 halftime performance in February and bonded with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple at the show. She and Beyoncé celebrated an early Easter together the next month.
Beyoncé last released the album Beyoncé in 2013 and followed up with the single "Formation" in February. The singer will kick off her Formation world tour April 27 in Miami, Fla., and bring it to a close Aug. 3 in Barcelona, Spain.
