Dressed in funky collared shirts and '90s inspired overalls, The Lonely Island performed some of Smith's most recognizable tracks such as "Parents Just Don't Understand," the theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, "Summertime," "Men in Black" and "Jiggy" which capped off the performance.

After mind wiping the crowd Men in Black-style, the trio then attempted to perform all of Smith's songs backwards and at the same time. "Wait, sorry that was a bad idea, that sounded terrible," Samberg joked. "Let's just end on 'Jiggy.'"

Smith who was seen visibly enjoying the performance alongside his two sons Trey and Jaden Smith, later accepted the lifetime achievement award and commented on his successful career.
