NAPLES, Italy, April 5 (UPI) -- Zayn Malik and girlfriend Gigi Hadid recently shot a romantic spread for Vogue. The 23-year-old British singer and 20-year-old American model got close in Naples, Italy, for the magazine's forthcoming May issue.

"That's amore: @gigihadid shows off spring's finest plaids with @zayn in Naples," Vogue captioned a photo of the couple on Instagram.
Famed fashion photographer Mario Testino shot the spread, which features clothing from Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada. Malik and Hadid shared additional photos from the shoot.
Malik and Hadid were first linked in November and went public with their relationship on social media the next month. The couple also got close in Malik's music video for "Pillowtalk," his first solo single since leaving One Direction in 2015.
Hadid recently shut down a Twitter user who accused her of dating too many men, saying she's "dated 3 guys in 3 yrs." She previously dated Australian singer Cody Simpson, who discussed Hadid's new relationship with Entertainment Tonight on Sunday.
"I think it's just kind of the natural way things go," Simpson said of seeing the model with Malik. "You're going to expect that kind of stuff [in the press]. I've kind of gone a different way, kind of been taking a little time for myself."
"I'm always very, very happy for her and her career," he qualified. "I know how hard she's always worked to get to the point in the modeling industry that she's at now and I couldn't be more proud of her. We still talk every now and then."
Malik released his first solo album, Mind of Mine, in March, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Hadid is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Real Housewives star Yolanda Foster and is known for her work with Chanel and Balmain.
